Building Stronger Communities

Founded in 2017 on the principles of equity and self-determination, the volunteer-led Allegany-Cattaraugus-Chautauqua Fund for Women provides the essential grants needed for women to achieve sustained self-sufficiency.

Our Mission in Action

The Allegany-Cattaraugus-Chautauqua Fund for Women (ACC FFW) exists to invest in
the lives of women in our communities in order to promote sustained self-sufficiency.
Our mission is supported by strong guiding principles, including: empowerment,
community, good stewardship, equity, diversity, and self-determination.

The ACC FFW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations to this
fund are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

Our Vision

To be a resource that will provide financial assistance and open
doors for women who seek continued betterment.

Endow the Fund

Maintain and grow an endowed fund that supports the ACC FFW vision and mission.

Award Grants

Award individual and agency grants annually in direct proportion to the endowment through a thorough application review.

Encourage Philanthropy

Promote philanthropy by and for women.

I used the grant to buy parts for my electric kiln because they constantly need upkeep. So I bought parts to fix the kiln and I had enough left over to buy elements for the kiln in the future. The grant was very helpful and I am still using the equipment.

I utilized the grant to help pay for a commercial size oven to cook bread. This helped my business that is currently doing well and has recently been featured in the Allegany County Tourism Magazine.

Ready to Grow?

Individual grants will be awarded annually to women who demonstrate a desire to achieve sustained self-sufficiency via a competitive application process.

Applicants from the tri-county area of Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua NY will be considered.

Application available Feb 1 annually
